For me so far REX 2 is useless and just a major pain. Its not that I cant see its an awesome program, it is! All the positive comments and great screen shots are the reason I bought this. So I know how good it can be, just not for me.
I never heard of REX 2 and found it on Flightsim.com in FS Pilot Shop. The only support link there is an email to the creator of the REX program I think. Two emails later with screen shots to show the errors, no responce.
I go to the Flight Sim Store and ask for help in the forum, which also is very nice.
But my help request cant be answered because I didnt have the order # from Flight Sim Store.
I sent in my invoice from FS Pilot Shop and now see it is approved. I have errors come up when I try to start FSX from inside REX 2. I have no idea how to fix this. Windows 7 is my system and it seems there are issues with that.
I and even if I did not have the error problem, Windows 7 has a program files folder, and a program files folder "(x86)". This is where FSX is located, and apparently is keeping REX from installing the textures in FSX!
There are work arounds Im sure. I will post another review braggin all about how great REX is, when it is for me.
Just be ready for frustration if your over 60.
