Chilpancingo (MMCH) is a regional airport located in the state capital of Guerrero, it is located 51nm north of Acapulco International Airport. MMCH lies in a narrow valley surrounded by tall mountains. It has no navigation facilities, to locate the airport you must fly 51nm North the 009 radial from ACA VOR (115.9 MHz) or 68nm South the 187 radial from TEQ VOR (113.1 MHz). The runway (15/33) is 4,620 ft. long al an altitude of 4,190 ft. There is a direct visual approach northbound to runway 33 or a very tight circling approach to runway 15.
Iguala (MM62) is a regional airport located 40NM South of the city of Cuernavaca. To get there you must fly 28nm South the 206 radial from TEQ VOR (113.1 MHz) or 91nm North the 002 radial from ACA VOR (115.9 MHz). The airport lies in a wide high valley surrounded by mountain ranges. The runway (08/26) is 5,540 ft. long at an altitude of 2,831 ft. and it has easy visual approaches to both ends.
Palenque (MM60) is a regional airport located near the famous Mayan ruins of the same name and just a few miles from the new Palenque International Airport (MMPQ) that started operations in February 2014. To reach the airport you must fly 55nm Southeast the 117 radial from VSA VOR (116.7 MHz) or 83nm Northeast the 042 radial from TGZ VOR (115.7 MHz). The runway (09/27) is 4,900 ft. long at an altitude of 246 ft.
